Been using Esun PLA filament for a while now, red and purple as that was all HK had in UK at the time. Very satisfactory.

Later added Silver, all I could get after getting the stock warning and managing to get online. also very satisfactory.

Got another back in stock warning, so ordered blue, green, black and yellow.

Used yellow and blue. Very satisfactory as others.

Yesterday used the green, or tried to.  Horrendous bed adhesion, high shrinkage during print lifting raft. Very granular. Poor adhesion anyway, colour is weird (a very blue tinted "green"), its more translucent than any of the others, not managed a single OK test print, using settings that work perfectly for the other colours OR experimental away from that. Verified that the printer still OK on the other colours.

Going to claim (wish me luck!) but be warned, this is not down to me, looks and feels like a bad batch!

I had some esun black from HK and it was the worst stuff I ever had the second roll wasnt as bad but the first was awful had blockages and bad prints it was very inconsistent and just rubbish check the pics of the print it had some weird gold / brass effect going on never again, I use HK PLA and its been very good upto now

I used a couple rolls of esun black pla purchased from HK a year or so back and they were both decent. Guess it must be down to good/poor batches?  Life's a batch sometimes!

I submitted a claim but stating I was ONLY notifying for their information so they could investigate the batch and prevent others being affected.

For the record, HK have, inside a few hours, investigated and have approved a refund.  They get stick for poor customer service, but the last two instances (I had an ARTF plane with faulty build six months back) have been dealt with quickly and I have no complaints.

Gaz, that is epic.   ~~

Did you buy a Vorpal electronics package and print the body, or did you source all the electronics stuff yourself?  Was it expensive?

Gaza07

I sourced all the elctronics my self if your interested in making one I can give you links the servos came from Ali Express at a good price it need the MG metal gear version the normal plastic gear ones are smaller and dont fit right
The site has a good guide on how to wire it all up and it uses a pp9 in the controller and 2 x 18650 cells in the robot, It prints easily and is a fun project  ~~

Don't want to put on you, but if you find the time a "post build" thread with required links would be GREAT!!!
