Because both of my printers are deltas I tend to clean the ground rails now and then and re oil them I always use Tri-Flow,
I was wondering what other people use if anything and do you need to lube other types of printers ?

Its expensive stuff but supposed to be the mutts nuts in lubes

Durex of course lol

Actually I do have a spray can of TriFlow but Morgan Blue bike chain oil works very well on the rails and possibly goes a little further between re-lubes (It's about the same price tbf but much easier to get locally from the local bike shop).

TriFlow would be my preferred tho if my spray isn't as messy lol

Yup I did and after I posted it I thought theres gonna be some funny replies  but I'm genuinely interested in what other people use if anything,
it was a question I asked at some point rather than just use anything that may not be suitable  ~~

After all using the wrong lube could result in burning and itching

Ive used natural olive oil on abs bearingless 8mm smooth rod parts before, works a treat, doesn't deteriorate abs and doesn't thicken up if it gets grime and dust in it, same time it isnt so liquid that it drips ~~

I've used and tried specific bearing oil for linear bearings, white lithium grease for lead screws and rails, Tamiya racing greases and standard 3 in 1 oil. As I ride motorbikes I've tried various chain lubricants, which generally work nicely. But the best I've found so far is Loctite Super Lube. A little expensive I guess, but lasts ages and works extremely well.

Ive just been using what I have in the shed  :o  Air line oil for compressors.
